Lightning

Went to the exhibit of McQueen at the Met a few weeks back and it was amazing! Sheryl, her mother and I waited in line for about 2 hours but it was so worth it. And although pictures are not allowed I'm kind of a ninja...so here you go :)

Lightning

July 4th, 2011

OK. 30 minutes left with this computer so I am going to post as much as I can!
4th on the roof in Brooklyn. I'm not usually here because July 4th is Zaks birthday so this was new for me. We had a pretty sweet view of the Macy's fireworks from the roof. I was joined by Sara and Sheryl.
Lovely times.

Video chat!

For those unaware my computer recently died. Sad face...I know. But...i rented this sweet computer from Tekserve today and its making magic happen for me. I actually feel insanely productive since I'm trying to squeeze three weeks of work into a 24hr usage! Any who....since I got a computer I decided it was time for a video chat with my nuggets back in Mass. Alexis basically just stared at herself on her screen and sang to herself (as per usual). Zak told me about kindergarten (can you believe!) and riding the bus and ice cream and just about everything! I can never get him to talk on the phone but video...that's another story.  And funny faces are all the rage.

Bayonne, NJ. Not my cup of tea.

A few days ago I went out on assignment to shoot a church in Bayonne. You'll see soon enough what came from that day but all I can say is Bayonne is not my favorite place. Mostly for it's distance from my home.  But the church folk were helpful and my waitresses at lunch spoke fluent Italian and they loved feeding me. Got to love that.

Jerz. Cuno Style

Last weekend Sarah and I had the pleasure of visiting her mom and sisters in New Jersey.
Think boardgames, g&t, babies, and lots of food!
It was just what I needed! A weekend away with no worries. Perfect.

Shit went down.

As some may know there were crazy snow storms in Mass this year and my parent's barn fell prey to the heavy weight.  The roof on the barn caved in back in the winter.  So, over the weekend they tore it down to make way for a new one!  Good job guys!

Jing Wei

Today I'm doing something new. Posting about an inspiration who also happens to be a friend.
Jing Wei is a beautiful lady illustrator and printmaker based in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. We met while in college at RISD.  Not only does she make the most stunning illustrations but she's one of a hand full of ladies that can pull off bangs.
You all should buy her stuff. She's going to be super famous soon and then you won't be able to afford it.  Listen to me, I know.
