Inspiration-Georges Dambier

Hello Wednesday!
Slow day here in BK. So I will get to it!
I was not familiar with Geroges Dambier's work or himself until recently.
I came across his images doing a google search and fell in love!
He was a photographer for Elle and Vogue in the 40's and 50's.
He also headed a fashion department for Magnum in the mid-50's.
My favorite tidbit about him is that he launced his own magazine for young people featuring culture and fashion called TWENTY. Love it.

Inspiration-Trees

Ok.
So I LOVE trees. Who doesn't? I have wisteria seeds I'm storing up courage for to plant.
Anywho. Since the weather has turned toward lovely, all I see are how great the trees are starting to look! Take a walk today and check out the trees!

Studio Sessions

Happy Tuesday!
As some of you know I am currently shooting studios of artists. So far just in Brooklyn.
Today I had the opportunity to shoot Joe in his studio. He is a theater technician, robot builder, and performance artist. So he pretty much rocks. And his spaces (2) looked and smelled just like my dad's barn. Full of tools and things to build with.
