Great thing about moving to Brooklyn is that I don't have to shop at the DAG anymore for groceries!!!!!!! Now, I am a new fan of Trader Joes which is insanely busy but MUCH less busy than the one in Union Square. I think it is in an old bank building. Check it out below.
Ok, first off a trip to Hooters with Sean, Angel, and Missy... it was awesome fun and our waitress Kristina signed her name like a 12 yr old to a napkin and even dotted her I with a heart.... True story. Lots of laughing and lots of fun!
My dear room mate Sarah just celebrated another year of life and since I was going to miss her celebrating we just celebrated the night before with cupcakes!
So, for any of you that were not aware, my favorite photographer Irving Penn died on October 7th. Although I am very sad, I am excited at all the amazing work he has left for us all to see. So below I have posted a few pics of him and his studio and then some other gorgeous pieces I adore.
So we arrive at my new place to realize that my window is busted....like whoa. First, three days after move in they replace it with plexiglass and screws and blue tape. Two days after that I complain that there is still no window and they proceed to but duct tape over it...awesome. Then, one week later...succcess.
So, on the first weekend in my new place in BK, I went to Chuck E Cheese with Linn and Mifu from work (and Dan and the wee babes). We spent the morning playing games and eating pizza. Then headed to Target to pick up things for the home:)
