Quick weekend update!

Saturday morning I spent some time rummaging through my uncle Kenny's basement. I saw this leaf on the back porch.

After Kenny's I made a stop at Ms. Kristin's family compund on my way to the hair dresser. Her dad came up to my door and gave me a poppy as I drove away. It was lovely:)

The Birth of a Legend

Get ready for a doozy!
This past week I was fortunate to help celebrate the birth of my dear friend Ms. Denise Cote (aka DC) not just once, but twice!! You could never celebrate 30 enough:)
First she came to the NYC and we spent a fabulous 16 hours together! First off to Serendipity where DC has always wanted to go and it was great! We ate and drank sampling pasta, meat loaf and mashed potatoes.
After dinner we sampled Serendipity's famous frozen hot chocolate (which I don't recommend)and the best sundae I have ever tasted in my life! Amazing....

After dinner we rang in Denise's birthday with a midnight drink at Black & White on the lower east side which I believe DC politely called B&W gym short balls:) Seriously....the place stunk!
We polished off the 16 hours with breakfast at my neighborhood diner Scotty's before parting ways at GCT. It was a fantastic celebration:)

On Saturday I ventured out to Western MA to party it up at DC and her man candy Seth's house. Fun ensued as you can see below.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY DENISE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Karaoke.....

Japas on 38th.....aka a place I don't go unless drunk already. Went with Eric and his friends. There should be a sign out front, "Karaoke, not safe for everyone."
I sang two songs...No Doubt and Heart, not amazing but I'm still alive. Oh yeah, let's not forget about the Whitney Houston vocal doppelganger who performed before and after me....not cool.

Farmers....

Hit up the farmers market with Robyn on Saturday, mostly soaked up the sun and took pictures, but, also picked up some zucchini for bread and flowers for myself:)  Then headed over to Friend of a Farmer for brunch where we were joined by Ms. Cuno. It was a lovely day....
